Dr. Brown's Wide-Neck Silicone Nipples
Dr. Brown's Natural Flow Wide-Neck 100% Silicone Bottle Nipple 2 Pack
Dr. Brown’s Options+ wide-neck silicone nipples—available across multiple flow levels—pair with the brand’s anti-colic internal vent system (clinically proven to reduce colic) to decrease spit-up, burping, and gas while supporting vacuum-free feeding that’s closer to breastfeeding; each level delivers a dependable, clinically consistent flow so babies can feed at their own pace, and the soft, breast-like shape encourages a proper latch and smoother transitions between breast and bottle. The vented design also helps preserve milk nutrients and support digestion for better sleep. Made from 100% silicone, these nipples fit all Dr. Brown’s Options+ wide-neck bottles and are easy to clean—dishwasher safe (top rack) and compatible with electric or microwave sterilizers or boiling water; BPA free.
How to choose a flow rate?
Dr. Brown’s silicone nipples (Levels 1–4 and Y-Cut) work with the anti-colic vent system to reduce spit-up, burping, and gas while enabling vacuum-free, breast-like feeding with a consistent, dependable flow. Choose a flow by starting at the lowest level your baby manages comfortably and move up only if feeds take too long or baby seems frustrated; signs it’s too slow include long feeds, fussing, or dozing off, while signs it’s too fast include gulping, coughing, leaking milk, or pulling off. As general guidance: Level 1 (0+ months) is the default starter; Level 2 (≈3+ months) if Level 1 is slow or milk is thickened on pediatric advice; Level 3 (≈6+ months) when Level 2 becomes slow; Level 4 (≈9+ months) for efficient, higher-volume feeders; Y-Cut (≈9+ months) for thicker liquids if recommended. Move one level at a time and give a few feeds to adjust.
